Schwartz Living Market located on East Carson Street in Pittsburgh's Nationally recognized historic South Side neighborhood has brought an exciting and challenging change to what a retail space is all about. Not just a store front space to find healthful and sustainable products and services shopping, the Schwartz Living Market is a new way to look at how environmentally conscious and Earth supportive enterprises can reach the public. And not only on the local level in Pittsburgh. Schwartz Living Market is a part of a world-wide movement of consumers who want to spend their hard earned money in ways that enhance and extend health-centric benefits for themselves, and everyone else.

Meet Dr. Elisa Haransky-Beck, a practicing Optometrist who, along with her husband -- a direct decedent of the Schwartz family -- transformed the defunct family grocery business of the 20th century into a place for sustainable business in the 21st century. This remarkable couple started by refitting the old store space and an attached building that once sold Model T Fords into an inviting shopping destination that meets today's standards for environmental for green designation. Today Dr. Haransky-Beck conducts her own classes in vision based body-mind enhancement called Vision Gym: A proven physical therapy that is used by athletes to increase their sight skills to give them a competitive advantage. It also has real benefits for anyone who wants to perform at their best in any of life's challenges.

Along with Elisa's Vision Gym vendors include Vegan based food and juice purveyors; resident craft masters and artists, as well as temporary vendors. Another important part of the Schwartz Living Market are the occasional guest lecturers who take advantage of the unique space and locations to educate and enlighten.

Schwartz Living Market ebook is free. It is published by Cardinal Content, a Pittsburgh based content creative minority-owned publishing house. Our goal is to help Dr. Elisa and Stan reach out to as many people as possible who are interested in all the ways they can live healthy and more complete lives while supporting the environment at the same time.
